Barnesville rallied to defeat Bellaire 5-4 on Monday at the Big Reds’ Middle School field at St. Joe after trailing by as many as four runs during the game.

Buckeye Trail tied the game in the 6th inning at 6 runs each at Old Washington Saturday with a single by Ela Patterson, and a triple by Jersey Eddy. Barnesville pulled ahead with two runs in the 8th to win the game, 8-6.

The Shamrock boys track and field team came in second out of a field of 11 teams at the 71st Bellaire Relays this past Saturday while the girls came in fourth.
Shamrock pitcher Dylan Blon logged his 16th varsity pitching win Friday night at St. Clairsville in a shutout.
Thursday night at Barnesville Memorial Park, the Shamrock Softball team blanked Union Local 4-0 to reclaim the coveted “Milk Pitcher” trophy that is passed between the two neighboring schools.
Cheerleading tryouts for the 2026-27 school year occurred on March 14 at the middle school gymnasium. Congratulations to the following sideline cheerleaders:
