“Big Bucks for Buck” Fundraiser – April 5

A fundraiser for Brian “Buck” Starr will take place at the Shady Lane Event Center, Saturday, April 5 from 12:00 – 5:00 to help raise funds for Starr’s medical expenses.

A $10 rigatoni dinner will include salad, a bread stick and drink. Desserts will be available for donation. A country store and raffle will also take place.  A Knock Tournament will follow with registration taking place during the day.       

Assumption CWC Rummage Sale – April 10-11

The Catholic Women’s Club of the Assumption and St. Mary’s Catholic Parish will sponsor a Spring Rummage Sale, Thursday and Friday, April 10-11 at the church basement. The hours for the sale are 7:00-1:00.

Food will also be available for purchase from 10:00-1:00 consisting of hot chicken sandwiches, pulled pork, tuna salad, cabbage and noodles, soup beans, noodles and desserts.  

The sale of donations will be used, in part, to renovate the church kitchen.   

Astoria Place Spring Craft Bazaar – April 12

Astoria Place Barnesville will host a Spring Craft Bazaar at the facility, 400 Carrie Avenue, Barnesville on Saturday, April 12 from 9:00-2:00.   Vendor space is available for $20. Contact Lisa at (740) 425-3648 for details.
