Dine to Donate Supports Animal Shelter and Cat Stray Shun – May 6

On Tuesday, May 6 diners at Undo West in St. Clairsville, will be able to support the Belmont County Animal Shelter and the Belmont County Cat Stray Shun. A percentage of all proceeds will be given to the two local animal welfare groups.  A gift basket raffle will take place from 3:00-8:00.    

Belmont County OGS Meeting – May 18

The May meeting of the Belmont County Chapter, Ohio Genealogical Society will take place Sunday, May 18 at 3:00 in the Genealogy Room of Barnesville Hutton Memorial Library.

Meetings are open to the public.

OHHC Cancer Screening at Quaker City – May 20

Breast cancer screening can help find breast cancer early, when it is easier to treat. Mammograms are low-dose x-rays that can help find breast cancer. Health care professionals suggest mammograms starting at age 40 and most people should have a mammogram every year.

The OSU Mobile Mammography will be at OHHC-Quaker City on May 20th. Call for an appointment. Everyone welcome. 844-384-PINK.

Spring Valley Mud and Trail Ride  

The Memorial Day weekend event will take place in Somerset Township at 54732 Boston Road, Barnesville. 

The 300-acre farm trails are mapped.  ATVs, Side-by-Sides, and Trucks permitted. Alcohol is allowed in cans only. The cost is $30 per person entry. The farm has 100 primitive camping sites.
