St. John the Baptist Church Gets Ready for Annual Picnic
Parishioners and community members can enjoy a meal and prizes at St. John the Baptist Church annual picnic this August.
The picnic will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Aug. 3, at St. John the Baptist Church parish hall, 35560 Miltonsburg-Calais Rd, Woodsfield.
The dinner will include chicken, beef, mashed potatoes, green beans, noodles, drinks, desserts and more. The price is $15.00 for dinner.
People can purchase raffle tickets, with the drawing around 2:30 p.m. The price is $1 for an individual ticket or $5 for a book of six. There will be two $400 prizes, one $200 prize, twelve $100 prizes, two $50 prizes, one $50 gift certificate, two $50 gift cards and a lamp.
“I’m just hoping for a nice turnout and a beautiful sunny day,” parishioner Eileen Ackerman said.
