Benefit Dance for Well Fire Victims
The Somerton Community Church will host a square dance and cake walk the evening of Nov. 22 at the Shady Lane Event Center, Barnesville, to benefit the six victims of an August oil well fire/explosion in Washington County.
Providing music will be the Caldwell-based Buckeye Travelers Band. Food will also be available for purchase. Donations are also welcome.
The men were attempting to cap off an abandoned well when the accident occurred. It is a long way to recovery for the victims who were initially critically injured.
