Loudermilk Headlines Pennyroyal Program

FAIRVIEW – The Pennyroyal Opera House will host Edgar Loudermilk at 7 p.m. Friday, May 22, the last program on the 2026 spring schedule.

Edgar Loudermilk is a two-time, back-to-back winner of the Society  for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music’s “Bass Fiddle Performer of the Year.” Edgar has also won the 2024 Josie Music Awards “Bass Player of the Year.”  Edgar Loudermilk’s signature voice, bass skills, and songwriting have become his trademark, garnering over 40 industry awards and nominations.  Edgar Loudermilk’s distinctive and powerful vocals cut to the heart of a song.

In addition to touring and performing for over twenty years, Edgar Loudermilk has experienced great success as a songwriter. 

His festival production company, Edgar Loudermilk Music Productions, produces and promotes bluegrass festivals throughout the Midwest and the Southeast.

An opening band will perform before Loudermilk takes the stage.

The kitchen and doors open at 5 p.m. with the show beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Tickets are $20 per person (cash), 12 and under are FREE.
