Cakewalk Set for One-Room School
CADIZ – Volunteers of the restored Ourant One-room school located near Deersville in Harrison County will stage an old fashioned Cakewalk at 6 p.m., Saturday, June 13.
The school is located at 81779-82389 Ourant Road off of Deersville Road (CR 2). It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.
Food will be offered for purchase while Brother Randall & Friends Bluegrass Band will provide music.
Participants are asked to kindly contribute a cake that will be divided amongst cakewalk winners.
