Gospel Quartet, Majesty, Coming to the First Presbyterian Church
BARNESVILLE – A musical group with a mission to share the Gospel through music will perform at the First Presbyterian Church at 3 p.m., Saturday June 27. The church is located at 124 N. Chestnut Street.
This marks the second local performance by Majesty, a quartet from Logan County, Ohio. The group also presented at First Presbyterian last year. The program is open to the public. Donations are appreciated but not required, according to a congregation member.
The quartet recently had the honor of being the opening act for gospel singer Ernie Hasse and his group Signature Sound.
Band members Tim Walls, Ward McBrien, Rob Kilgore and Jerry Zellers follow God’s call to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through song, according to the group’s Facebook Page.
Quartet member, Tim Walls, is the nephew of Nancy Murphy, a life long member of the First Presbyterian Church. His mother, Ruth Anne Walls, and grandparents were members of the First Presbyterian Church.

The congregation promises “some good music that will make your soul happy!”
