Fifth Annual BHS “All Grad” Parade Planned

BARNESVILLE – The Fifth Annual Barnesville High School “ALL GRAD” Parade will take place the afternoon of Saturday, July 11.

“Please plan to join us for this growing and fun Alumni weekend event,” organizer Sally Davies Johnson said. All BHS classes and class members are invited to participate.

All participating classes will be entered into a $100 cash drawing. Participants may walk, drive cars, trucks, golf carts, etc. with every entry to to feature the Shamrock theme. Register by Wednesday, July 8 (no fee), to guarantee the class is entered in the cash drawing.

The parade forms at the Barnesville Depot at 12:30 p.m. with the procession moving promptly at 1 p.m. The parade route is from the Depot to Arch Street, then west along Main Street ending at the Elementary School Gym at the corner of Broadway and Main.

Johnson said the parade will be led by the Barnesville High School Marching Band.

The BHS Band will lead the Alumni Parade on Saturday, July 11. The night before, the band will participate in the Phil Carpenter Memorial Mile Long Parade in Quaker City, where this photo was taken in 2025.

Other former Barnesville students and current residents are encouraged to line the parade route to support the classes and those participating in the parade.
