Ohio Hills Folk Festival Quilt Show 2026

QUAKER CITY –   Among the many attractions at the 2026 Ohio Hills Folk Festival in Quaker City, Ohio, will be a quilt show hosted by The Who Cooks For You Quilt Guild. Quilts will be on display at the Central Christian Church on Broadway Street, Thursday through Saturday, July 9-11.

Entries will be accepted at the church on Wednesday, July 8, from 1-6 p.m. Participants are limited to six entries. Area quilters are encouraged to enter and display their talents.

Quilts will be judged in the following classes:

  • Appliqué quilt-hand or machine quilted
  • Pieced patchwork quilt-hand quilted
  • Pieced patchwork quilt – custom machine quilted
  • Pieced patchwork quilt- edge to edge machine quilted
  • Mixed media – full size and pieced appliqué or embroidery on the same quilt
  • Mixed media- wall hanging- pieced appliqué or embroidery on the same wall hanging
  • Antique quilts
  • Small quilted items- pillows, table runners, placemats, purses, etc.
  • Baby quilts
  • Miscellaneous quilts – photo, signature, T-shirts
  • Floss embroidery or cross stitch
  • Paneled wall hanging or full-size quilt – quilted from preprinted fabric or panels

Judges will award ribbons for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each class. Rosettes will be awarded to Best of Show, Best use of color, Best design, Festival Choice, Best Old Handquilting , Best New Handquilting and Best Machine Quilting.

A beautiful patriotic quilt prepared by the quilt guild honoring America 250 will be raffled during the show.

The quilt show is free and open to the public at the church during the festival. Hours are Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
