Epworth Performance Features The Tumbleweed Band
BETHESDA – The Tumbleweed Band will perform at the Epworth Park Auditorium in Bethesda from 2-4 p.m., on Saturday, August 22. All are welcome to attend the free event.
The Tumbleweed Band is an eastern Ohio band and variety music group featuring country music, classic variety hits, and dance tunes.
Epworth Park, located adjacent to North Main Street, in Bethesda, was established as a Methodist Church Camp Meeting in 1870. From the 1890s through 1943, the park hosted a week of Chautauqua programs each summer along with other programing and youth camps.
Last year, the park was listed on the National Register of Historic Places by the National Park Service/Department of Interior.
