Belmont County Fair Sept. 7-13
The 177th Belmont County Fair will honor the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and the 225th anniversary of the establishment of Belmont County in 1801.
Since 2010, the fair has been staged at 45420 Roscoe Road in Richland Township east of St. Clairsville on a 162 acre site that now houses 14 major buildings.
In addition to regular admission ticket prices, Senior Citizens and Veterans will be admitted free (with ID) all day on Friday.
New to the fair this year thanks to the Belmont County Board of Developmental Disabilities will be “sensory friendly spaces” reported earlier in Barnesville Area News.

Family Entertainment Features include Sheriff Stretch, the Steamers Thrill Show, Stone Age Show and Foam Fun School, Mobile Dairy Classroom, Butterfly Encounter, Wood Carving and Glass Blower.
