Movie Series Launches with Grease
School is back in session meaning there is no better time for the launch of the “Barnesville State Theater Movie Series.”
The Barnesville State Theater Movie Series opens Saturday with two screenings of the 1978 classic movie, “Grease”, 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Travel back in time to the 1950s when bad boy Danny (John Travolta) and good girl Sandy (Oliva Newton-John), who met each other over the summer, return to the same school.
Theater officials note that “no ticket required for entry” for either the afternoon matinee or evening showtime. More information is found on the theater’s Facebook page.
The second movie screening on October 31 will feature the 1993 film, ”Hocus Pocus”. An added feature will be a Halloween costume contest.
