Tracy Evans & Riverbend at Pennyroyal Opera House
Tracy Evans & Riverbend is the featured act at the Pennyroyal Opera House this Friday, September 25.
Led by Tracy Evans, the group continues a rich family musical tradition and pays tribute to the music of Tracy’s father, bluegrass veteran Dave Evans. With a repertoire that blends classic bluegrass favorites, songs from the Evans family tradition, and newer material, Tracy Evans & Riverbend bring the sound and spirit of traditional bluegrass to the stage with hard-driving picking, heartfelt vocals, and the energy of a seasoned bluegrass band.
Opening for Tracy and the band is Cabin Fever.
The doors and kitchen open at 5 p.m. with the program starting at 7 o’clock. Tickets are $20 each, and children ages 12 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased at the door with cash only.
The Pennyroyal Opera House Bluegrass Program is operated and managed by an all-volunteer staff. The Opera House is located in Fairview at the Guernsey-Belmont line, I-70 Exit 198.
