Vintage Cars Pass Through Barnesville
Several vintage sports cars headed to Burr Oak State Park in Morgan County passed through Barnesville Wednesday, September 30, on their way to take part in the second annual “The Grand Tour of the Ohio Valley”, organized by the Pittsburgh Grand Prix.
The five-day, all-inclusive driving tour began on September 30, 2026, bringing a select fleet of vintage sports cars and grand tourers—including classic Chevrolet Corvettes—through the scenic backroads of southeastern Ohio and the Ohio River Valley.
The tour schedules approximately 100 miles of driving per day along lightly traveled, twisting backroads. It officially launches from the Burr Oak Lodge, winding through the Hocking Hills region, passing historic areas and concluding at the Blennerhassett Hotel in Parkersburg, West Virginia.
Participation in the event is strictly limited to 22 curated vintage sports and GT cars older than 45 years and classic models older than 20 years.
Beyond the driving experience, the Grand Tour acts as a charity event, with proceeds benefiting the PVGP’s mission to support individuals with autism and developmental/intellectual disabilities. More information on the tour may be found at Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix (PVGP)
