Kiwanis Pancake Day Returns

Pancakes, sausage and drinks will be on the menu for the Barnesville Kiwanis’s annual pancake day, an annual event that goes back decades.

The Kiwanis Pancake Day will be from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 25 at the Assumption Catholic Church basement. This is the organization’s biggest fundraiser of the year, with tickets at $10 for adults, $5 for ages four to 12 and free for those under three.

Advance tickets are available to purchase from Kiwanis Club members.

Members will serve pancakes, sausage, orange juice, milk and coffee.

Barnesville High School Key Club members will be at the event helping the Kiwanis organization.

The day will also feature a country store and Christmas ornament walk certificates for December 6’s Fun in the Ville will be available to purchase.

Proceeds are invested back into the community to support youth projects in Barnesville, vice president Brock Rogers said. “100% of the funds go back into advancing our youth around here.”
