May 1, 2026

7:59 am — Bethesda-Belmont Rd, Bethesda. A deputy was requested to assist a squad needing traffic control.

10:35 am — Ike Scales Rd, Belmont. A person came to the station to report fraud. Someone had attempted to open a credit card in a family member’s name. The deputy advised the person that the incident would be on file and to contact the credit card company.

9:09 pm — Lafferty-Bannock Rd, Flushing. The caller advised that two suspicious people were attempting to get into the repo lot. The deputy discovered that the owner had permitted the people to get belongings from their vehicle. The items were retrieved, and no charges were filed.

May 2, 2026

3:40 pm — Stukey Rd, Alledonia. The caller reported that the radio was stolen from his vehicle. Information was taken for a report.

6:30 pm — National Rd, Belmont. A female called to state that she was arguing with someone, gave the address and hung up. Deputies arrived and were advised by the female that an intoxicated male drove off in a vehicle. Information was taken for a report.

11:37 pm — Mile Marker 206, westbound Interstate 70. The Ohio State Patrol requested assistance with an occupied disabled vehicle. Deputies responded and called the tow company. The flat tire was changed, and the female was on her way.

May 3, 2026

12:19 am — Church St, Bethesda. The caller advised that they heard the neighbors arguing and a possible gunshot. The neighbors were already in bed when the deputies arrived. Deputies spoke to all involved. Parties stated that they do not even own a gun.

2:09 am — McKinley Ave, Bethesda. The caller stated that one of his properties had been broken into within the last two days. He called back to meet with a deputy, who created a report recording the incident.

4:58 pm — Reco Rd, Belmont. An alarm dropped. The deputy found that all was okay.

May 4, 2026

1:18 pm — Reynolds Rd, Piedmont. While trying to place their boat into the water, the vehicle went into the water too. The driver escaped with no injuries. The Sheriff Department’s diver assisted the tow company retrieve the vehicle.

2:01 pm — Chestnut St, Barnesville. During a traffic stop, the deputy issued a warning for a traffic control device.

2:28 pm — Belmont-Morristown Rd, Belmont. The school requested a welfare check on a student after speaking with the parent about disciplinary actions taken by the school.

3:24 pm — Belmont Centerville Rd, Belmont. A deputy made a welfare check, and all was okay.

3:29 pm — Main St, Jacobsburg. The deputy spoke to the involved parties. Arrangements were made to retrieve belongings from the residence.

4:14 pm — Belmont Rd, Bethesda. Deputies responded to possible domestic trouble. The male left and will get items later.

9:16 pm — 3rd St, Belmont. An anonymous caller reported ATVs riding up and down the roadway. Negative contact made.

May 5, 2026

8:34 am — Belmont-Morristown Rd, Belmont. Deputy responded to possible shoplifting. Multiple items found in the person’s bag.

9:43 am — Belmont-Morristown Rd, Belmont. A deputy responded to a call from the superintendent, wanting a letter received in the mail to be put on record. The deputy photographed the letter.

1:49 pm — Oak St, Bethesda. A caller had questions about evicting tenants from a rental property. The deputy shared information on the eviction process.

2:31 pm — Oak St, Bethesda. A deputy responded to a neighbor complaint. The caller stated that the neighbor was putting hot ashes onto their property. The parties decided to resolve the issue themselves. No further action was required.

9:47 pm — Bethesda. A deputy went to serve a misdemeanor warrant, but no contact was made.

May 6, 2026

5:49 am — Church St, Morristown. A 911 hang-up call with static on the line occurred. A deputy responded when there was no answer on a call back. No contact was made.

12:05 pm — Mile Marker 202, eastbound Interstate 70. During a traffic stop, the deputy issued a warning for being left of center, following too close and speeding.

2:34 pm — Cool Hill Rd, Belmont. A male spoke with a deputy at the station about a lost money order. Information was taken for a report.

2:53 pm — An anonymous caller requested that deputies deal with the ATVs on the roads. A deputy investigated but made no contact.

3:27 pm — National Rd, Belmont. Deputies responded to a call about a possible psychiatric emergency. The deputies spoke to the person, determining that they were lucid and coherent. They offered to take the person to a hospital for help, but the offer was declined. The person requested and received a ride to the state line in Bridgeport.

4:24 pm — Clegg and Tiber Roads, Jacobsburg. A school bus driver and a motorist had a verbal altercation at the location. Neither vehicle could pass. Deputies responded, but the parties were cleared before their arrival.

6:22 pm — Belmont-Morristown Rd, Belmont. An alarm drop occurred at a business. At 6:30, an electronic cancel request was received.

7:53 pm — 1st/Church St, Bethesda. A male stated that he was assaulted when a female dumped tea on him. The deputy investigated. No Temporary Protective Order was violated. The male walked to a friend’s place for the night.

7:59 pm — Holloway. A deputy investigated a parent’s complaint about an unruly juvenile. The juvenile broke the bedroom door when the parent attempted to discipline them. The parent left the residence for the night.
