Eastside Barnesville Boil Order in Place

Release

The Barnesville Water Department has issued a precautionary boil advisory due to emergency waterline repairs for all service connections on Morgantown Avenue, Bernhard Street, Brennon Street, Fairmont Avenue, Richmond Street, and all connections on East Main Street from 780 to 910 East Main Street and any others experiencing a loss in pressure.

This boil advisory will remain in effect for 48 hours once water service is restored. Water should be vigorously boiled for at least one minute prior to human consumption or dental hygiene use. Residents may also notice discolorations and should be cautious with laundry.

“The Barnesville Water Department apologizes for any inconvenience that these water line repairs create for their customers,” the release noted.
