Advertisement for Bids

The Village of Barnesville is seeking sealed bids for providing all materials, labor and equipment for the rehabilitation of two Mid Atlantic 250,000 gallon Clear Well Water Storage Tanks.

Bids will be received until 10 a.m., Thursday, August 6, 2026, at the office of Village Administrator Roger A. Deal, Village of Barnesville, 126 East Church Street, Barnesville, Ohio 43713, when they will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Copies of the information for bidders may be obtained at the office listed above or by contacting the Village Administrator at 740-425-1880.

All work performed shall be in accordance with all State and Federal laws. The Village of Barnesville reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any and all bids.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE VILLAGE OF MORRISTOWN/MORRISTOWN PARK 2027 BUDGET

Notice is hereby given that on the 15th day of July 2026, at 5:30 p.m., a public hearing will be held on the Budget prepared by the Village of Morristown/Morristown Park District of Belmont County, Ohio, for the next succeeding fiscal year ending December 31, 2027. Such hearing will be held at the Office of Morristown Village Council, 317 Church St., Morristown, Ohio.

AT&T Files to Discontinue Basic Local Exchange Service (BLES) for Several Telephone Exchanges

AT&T Ohio (AT & T) has filed with the Federal Communications Commission to discontinue Basic Local Exchange Service (BLES) to existing business and residential customers in several Ohio telephone exchanges. In this area, service would be discontinued in Bethesda, Bellaire and Clarington.
