Seniors September Newsletter Available

ST CLAIRSVILLE – The monthly newsletter, “The Golden Times,” distributed by the Belmont County Committee on Aging is now out. The September edition is accessible online .

The magazine is also available at senior centers, libraries, the hospital and health care centers.

In addition to monthly activities, calendars for each center and the monthly meal menus are also shared.

This edition shares how the Senior Services Agency is funded. Next year, a “reduced” renewal tax levy will be on the ballot.

There are four Senior Citizen Centers in western Belmont County:

Barnesville – 229 E. Main Street, Nik Sells, coordinator, and Kendra Blackstone, assistant

Bethesda – 118 S. Main Street, Maxine Jurovcik, coordinator, and Jodi Vincent, assistant

Centerville – 44642 Main Street (Jacobsburg mailing address), Bonnie Borovich, coordinator, and Renee Craig, assistant

Flushing – 208 High Street, J.B. Flood, coordinator; Lee Nichol, assistant
