Kellie Loudin is Named 2025 Small Business Champion for Ohio

e National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), Ohio’s leading small business advocacy organization, has selected Kellie Loudin of Barnesville as its 2025 Small Business Champion for Ohio. NFIB Ohio Assistant State Director Cameron Garczyk presented the award to her on July 17 at NFIB’s Ohio Leadership Council meeting.

Belmont County LifeWise Programs Plan 5K Race

Belmont County LifeWise Directors are coordinating a 5K run that will raise money for Bible-based learning programs on Saturday, August 9.

The county-wide 5k run fundraiser registration will begin at 7 a.m. followed by the race at 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 9 at the Belmont County Fairgrounds, 45420, Roscoe Rd, St. Clairsville.

Former Greyhound Driver Reflects on a Life of Miles, Memories and Military Honors

Somerton native Don Byers continues his life after driving more than three million miles in his career with Greyhound.

Byers, who just turned 91 in June, settled on East Walnut Street, where he keeps his wife’s ashes, his brothers’ military memorabilia, and his own stack of awards from Greyhound. He continues to be close with his four children and 16 grandchildren.

Union Local Afterburner Committee is proud to announce the official acquisition of a retired United States Air Force F-16 Thunderbird Jet, which will be permanently displayed on campus as a tribute to American military service, aviation history, and community spirit reflecting the official mascot of the school.

Ribbon Cutting at St. Clairsville Neighborhood Hospital

Hospital officials were joined by local politicians and the community to formally introduce the St. Clairsville Neighborhood Hospital Friday morning, July 18. The Grand Opening ceremonies took place at the new medical facility located along Route 40 near Plaza West on the site of a former auto parts supply store.
