Chavez Announces Local Fire Grants
State Senator Brian Chavez (R-Marietta) announced earlier week nearly 200 fire departments across Ohio will be receiving Small County Volunteer Fire Department (SCVFD) Grants, enabling departments to better equip themselves and protect their communities.

Water Department Valve Work Impacts Service/ Traffic
The Barnesville Water Department is currently working on a valve replacement project on East Main Street at Grace Avenue, according to a release from the Village of Barnesville.
