LifeWise Barnesville is gearing up to bring families together this summer with a community event featuring swim, food and fun at Barnesville Memorial Park on Friday evening, June 27.
Entries are now being accepted for the Barnesville Pickleball Tournament to be held on Saturday, July 5 at the Barnesville Memorial Park at part of the Barnesville Independence Day Celebration.
Barnesville Alumni Banquet weekend will feature a downtown parade early Saturday, July 12.
The annual Independence Day event will take place at Barnesville Memorial Park, beginning at noon on Saturday, July 5. A free swim will get underway at 12 Noon at Barnesville Memorial Park Pool. Fireworks are scheduled for 9:30. A rain date for the event is Sunday, July 6.
Captina Conservancy will race rubber ducks again this year through the Captina Creek at its fourth annual big fundraiser.
Flushing Heritage Day will take place Firday, June 13 at Schuler Park.
Carl Kondrach, Wheeling native who now lives in Barnesville and hosts races, took strides at the Ogden Newspapers Half Marathon Classic Walk in May where he won first place for the walking race. The Ogden Newspapers Half Marathon during Wellness Weekend took place May 23 where Kondrach won this year’s Men’s Walk as a contestant. […]
