Executive Director of the Belmont County Tourism Office Jackee Pugh along with Daniel Finsley, owner of Finsley Creative, have designed a logo to represent the America250 celebrations and the county’s 225th anniversary.
“Stories and Songs of Appalachia,” a one-night performance presented by Interim Dean of Campus and Community Relations Richard W. Greenlee, will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 19, in the Ohio University Eastern Theater.
Traditional, Modern and Gospel Bluegrass, the Muddy Krick Mountain Band from Northeast Ohio will perform at the Pennyroyal Opera House at 7 p.m. March 27.

The purse bash is from noon to 3 p.m. April 12 at Elks Lodge, 117 North Chestnut Street with the first drawing at 1 p.m.
