Barnesville Mobile Market Canceled
The Barnesville Mobile Market at Barnesville Depot will not take place, Friday, Januar7 3.
“Christmas in the Park” Up Through Jan. 2
The second annual Christmas in the Park display at Barnesville Memorial Park will run each evening now through Thursday, January 2, 2025.
Community Calendar Through December 29
The Barnesville Memorial Park Display highlights this week’s events. Many citizens will also attend Christmas Eve services.

Sunday and Christmas Eve Services
Several congregations in Barnesville and surrounding communities have Christmas services planned for Sunday, December 22 and on Christmas Eve, December 24.
Christmas Activities in Images and Words
There were many Christmas Holiday activities wrapped around the December 6-8 weekend including the annual Lighted Barnesville Christmas Parade sponsored by Hissom’s Service Center.
Jeff Parker & Company at Pennyroyal
The Pennyroyal Opera House will host a bluegrass show on Friday December 20th featuring Jeff Parker & Company. Famous for his mandolin-playing and vocal lead singing, with over 30 years in music, Jeff has been part of the musical staff at the Renfro Valley Entertainment Center

Many area churches are planning special services now up through Christmas Eve.
