Chamber Seeks ‘Barnesville Collection’ Pieces
Thirty years ago, during the heyday of the “Barnesville Victorian Village Project,” local Bread and Breakfast operator Janet Thompson commissioned a 14-piece set of miniature buildings that were popular collector pieces.
Barnesville Chamber Director Jill Hissom is currently seeking a number of pieces to form a complete set of the collection. The chamber would like to raffle them off via a fundraiser to raise funds for chamber events.
‘Vision Plan’ Shared with Barnesville Community
Many residents attended a meeting Thursday evening to learn the results of last year’s community survey and see how the village could move forward through a newly developed vision plan.
