Barn Artist Scott Hagan’s lates Barnesville Mural is complete in time for the nation’s 250th birthday celebration. The patriotic mural is located along the south side of the Barnesville VFW Post #2792 at 129 South Chestnut Street.
Barnesville American Legion Post #168 held a Memorial Day service on Monday, May 25 at the Veteran’s Plaza in Barnesville.

The Dickinson Cattle Company is opening its ranch gates to visitors this summer with the opening of its annual Longhorn Head to Tail Tours, offering guests an up-close look at Texas Longhorn cattle, southeastern Ohio history and the diversified ranch operation north of Barnesville.

A celebration related to the nation’s 250th birthday will take place from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Saturday, June 6 at the historic Blaine Bridge off of U.S. Route 40 in the Blaine community located west of Bridgeport.
