Heat Wave Moves Seniors Rodeo Day
In a social media post on Friday, the Belmont County Senior Services shared, “In light of the heat advisory issued for June 24, we have opted to move our Rodeo from the Belmont County Fairgrounds to our Centerville Senior Center (44642 Main Street). We feel this decision is in the best interest of everyone. Thank you to the Smith Township Community Center for the accommodation.”
This is the third annual Rodeo Day that is a multi-generational event in conjunction with Belmont County 4-H Clubs.
Attendees should register for the event through their local senior center: Barnesville (425-9101), Bethesda (740-761-0056), Centerville (686-9832) and Flushing (968-2525).
Senior Citizen Newsletter Online. The monthly newsletter “Golden Times” distributed by the Belmont County Committee on Aging is now available online free of charge to subscribers. The July edition is now available online. Print copies may be picked up at individual centers and other community locations in the coming month.
