Beallsville’s Fall Festival to Take Place This Weekend

The Beallsville Fall Festival with vendors, food, games and more will take place this weekend for fall, family fun.

The one-day festival will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Washington Street in Beallsville.

A square dance, food, pumpkin decorating contest, pie baking contest, vendors and children’s game will be featured.

The Beallsville Student Council will be setting up at the festival at 5 p.m. to serve visitors apple crisp and vanilla ice cream for a donation to be split to go to Jaxton Palmer, a local 10-year-old who is battling aggressive brain cancer, and the student council fund.

For the young ones, Marshall from PAW Patrol and Stitch from Lilo & Stitch, popular movie characters, will make special appearances.

Beallsville Heritage Days & Events encourages people to “bring the whole family for a day of fall fun, photos and meet-and-greets with your favorite characters.”

The festival will also feature a craft display at the First Christian Church, 53734, Main St., with quilting, yarn or needle work, photography, sewing, woodworking, pottery, painting and more. Entries will be accepted at the fellowship hall from 4-6 p.m. Friday, with no entry fee required.

Confirmed food trucks include Slumdogs, Emily’s Sweets, Martha’s, Penguin Playground and Kettle Cooked Soup Beans and Corn Bread.
