A Perfect Day Greets Barnesville VFD/EMS Fishing Tournament
BARNESVILLE – With the sun shining brightly, 81 youngsters through the age of 15, along with parents, grandparents and guardians, stood along the banks of Rotary Lake at Barnesville Memorial Park Saturday morning casting lines into the water with hopes of catching the big one!
One young man, Gunner Moore in the age 7-11 group, did just that in landing a 24-inch Carp to win the Biggest Catch trophy.

Participants largely came from the Barnesville area while one young man and his father hailed from the Colerain community. This was their first Barnesville tournament. Dad said, “We’ll be back next year.”
