Fun Day Set for Belmont County Mansion Museum
BARNESVILLE – The Belmont County Mansion Museum, 532 N. Chestnut Street, will host a “Fun Day on the Lawn” beginning at 12:30 to 4 p.m., Sunday, August 16.
In addition to refreshments, ice cream, hot dogs and cotton candy, lawn games and bingo will be enjoyed. Entertainment will be provided by musician and local resident Enrico Amato, a “second-generation Italian American whose style features a heavy emphasis on his heritage”.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs for seating.
At 1 p.m., the museum will also dedicate a newly installed accessibility ramp at the rear of the three-story mansion museum and bury a time capsule marking America’s 250th birthday.
In addition to the activities, the museum will be open for tours. Except for the cotton candy, everything is free, but donations are welcome.
