The festival unofficially begins today with the Festival Royalty Contest at Barnesville High School. Also taking place today is the escort procession of bikers, trucks and vehicles of all kinds escorting the Eyes of Freedom Display into town.

The Barnesville Pumpkin Festival Queen’s Pageant was held at Barnesville High School Auditorium on Sunday. The 2025 pageant winners are Queen Ella Keller, Bellaire; Princess Maggie Schnegg, Barnesville; and Mini Miss Rose Jefferis, Barnesville. Sunday afternoon, the Eyes of Freedom motorcade arrived, led by Barnesville Police and followed by a motorcycle brigade.
