State Crown Caps Shamrock Cheerleaders Season
Barnesville Shamrock Varsity Cheerleaders claimed the Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators (OASSA) state contests in Division V for Non-Building and Non-Building Game Day competition Sunday at Big Walnut High School in Sunbury.

Several area school districts announced the cancelation of classes for Monday, Feb. 23 due to winter weather conditions.
Students Gather at OUE for Annual Charlie Wilson Leadership Event
Students from Martins Ferry, Barnesville, and Bridgeport high schools participated in interactive workshops and heard from regional leaders about initiative, service and long-term community impact at the Charlie Wilson Leadership event at Ohio University Eastern.

Rolling on to State
Competing in Eastern District Division II bowling competition on Thursday at Legacy Lanes, Coshocton, the Shamrock Boys Bowling team came in first making history with the school’s first District Bowling Championship.
Barnesville Board Approves February Forecast
The Board approved the February forecast as presented. Historically, this forecast was due in May, but the state moved the due date to February.
