Village Council Discusses Bucket Truck, Crosswalk and More at Meeting
All Council members were present, along with Mayor Hershberger at the July 13 meeting. The next Village Council meeting will take place on July 27 at 7:00 p.m. at the Municipal Building.
Water & Sewer Committee Creates Recommendation for Next Council Meeting
On July 14, the Barnesville Council Water and Sewer Committee met in the council chambers to discuss the proposed water and sewer rate increases.
Country Store Open August 1
The Country Store Museum at Quaker City will open at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 1 offering ice cream, sandwiches, etc.
Miltonsburg Picnic Set for August 2
The Miltonsburg Picnic will take place Sunday, August 2 at the parish hall on Miltonsburg-Calais, Road near the northern Monroe County village.

Barnesville, Fairview Fire Personnel Train
Barnesville and Fairview volunteer fire personnel took part in a hands-on training exercise at Barnesville Station Saturday, July 18 to learn more about Thermal Imaging Cameras (TICs).
