A celebration related to the nation’s 250th birthday will take place from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Saturday, June 6 at the historic Blaine Bridge off of U.S. Route 40 in the Blaine community located west of Bridgeport.
“Peace in the Park” Yoga Class
The Union Local Rotary Club is hosting and sponsoring a “Peace in the Park” Yoga Class at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 27 at the Bethesda Park. The class is part of “Mental Health Awareness Month 2026.

The 23rd National Road Yard Sale Festival will begin on May 27 and run until May 31st stretching from St Louis to Baltimore, Maryland including U.S. Route 40 through Belmont and Guernsey counties.

Acclaimed author Robin Yocum visited Barnesville Memorial Hutton Library on Wednesday, May 20 to give a Q&A about his career, his writing process and of the novels he has written.
Gardeners Prepare to Swap Plants
The annual Belmont County Master Gardener Plant Swap will take place at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Belmont County Fairgrounds Wise Building, 45420 Roscoe Road, St. Clairsville.
Gardeners should bring plants by 5:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
